Our Story

We’re a family of beekeepers on Nantucket, bottling raw honey that captures the flavor of the island. What began with a few hives grew into a family practice rooted in patience, care, and respect for the bees. Each jar reflects Nantucket’s changing blooms, ocean air, and open landscape.

How We Began

Farfetched Nantucket Honey started simply, with a fascination for bees and a desire to understand the landscape through their work. Over time, that interest became a family practice built on steady care, thoughtful handling, and a commitment to doing things well. We keep the process simple so the honey speaks for itself.

Where Our Bees Live

Our apiary sits near protected open space, where the bees forage among seasonal island blooms. From spring red maple to summer wildflowers and late-season nectar, the plants around them influence the color, aroma, and flavor of each harvest. The result is honey that is deeply tied to Nantucket and the rhythm of the seasons.

How We Bottle Our Honey

We keep our honey raw and minimally filtered to preserve its natural character. It is bottled with care, using glass jars and simple methods that protect the aroma and texture of each batch. What ends up in your jar is a reflection of the flowers our bees visited and the place they call home.
